The greater part of our work is intended for export markets with various cultures and different languages. Understanding of these cultural differences and the linguistic form of the message must be able to meet exceptionally qualified demands. Linguistic usage must be adapted to those reading the message. CA Clase
In the middle of the 1980s the shipyards in Gothenburg closed down. They were C A Clase's most important target group. The company was then divided into many different divisions and our assignment was to reorganise the company in order to develop communication and find new target groups. C A Clase is today a very strong company and was first in investing in GPS.

We worked methodically in several stages:

  • Stage 1. A run-through of each division.
  • Stage 2. Business development, four-day conference.
  • Stage 3. Marketing plan with communicative and creative strategies.
  • Stage 4. Information to all personnel for one day.
  • Stage 5. Carrying out and continuous follow-up.

Heidenhain
The company works with advanced computer-operated measuring of industrial processes. For us it meant a European business co-operation with contacts both in the Swedish subsidiary and HK in Germany.

Helvar
Technology-oriented Finnish electronics company that specialises in the control of lighting in public environments such as conference centres, theatres, shopping centres, and cinemas, etc. Most of us have probably turned a dimmer switch from Helvar at least once in our lives. The Agency has had a long and close business relationship with the companies in Sweden, England and Finland and covered all possible areas, but chiefly questions of management, coordinated communication strategies and product activities.

European dept collecting company, most famous these days for its boat "Intrum Justitia", which has been successful in many sailing tournaments.

The Agency's long and close business relationship has meant market analyses, strategies and internal conferences for integrated communication as an opportunity for successful internationalisation.

Price Waterhouse
International company of accountants, where we were entrusted with analysing the Swedish market and the existing office structure in order to find suitable places for new business start-ups.

We also developed Status Cheque, an analysis tool for small and medium-sized companies, useful for handling all the legal and economic questions for the company and its owners.

Landis & Gyr Building Control
International company that develops products and services within the heating and ventilation field. The road to our long business relationship has gone through several other customers. From Uni Process, Intermetric, EMT to Landis & Gyr Energy Management. Thereafter to L&G Building Control (Siemens today). See below.

Uni Process (now called Pronyx, introduced on the Stock Exchange) was a company of three people that grew large. They business area is control systems for industrial processes.`

Rolf Hilding, managing director at Uni Process describes the business relationship: "We wanted somebody who could administrate, implement and push our marketing. We needed to be chased a bit. I could use Svanstroem Angus as a sounding board. We got immediate contact that has since developed into many years of lively co-operation".

Intermetric and EMT supplied and developed their different systems.

Both these companies developed into emerging companies and were purchased by Landis & Gyr Energy Management. With our integrated method of working we will go on playing a large role for many years on a turbulent electrical power market.

We will also be noticed for our way of working in Zug, Switzerland. Something that gave us the opportunity of a business relationship with Landis & Gyr Building Control. Svanstroem Angus was given an interesting and varied role.

Svanstroem Angus Managing Director, Karl-Gustaf Svanström, became right-hand man to the managing director at Landis & Gyr. The task was to integrate and coordinate the organisation's 50 different companies under one communications team where all the strategies and integration of information would be shaped.

A new graphic company image was also implemented in close co-operation with the head office in Switzerland.

Because of stagnation on the Swedish real estate market, the Agency was behind the overall approach of building automation and real estate administration with the development of the air environment concept "World Air 9000", which was later introduced in the whole of Europe.

Uddeholm Tooling AB
This global steel company gave us the opportunity for a rich business relationship across the borders with the owners in Austria, initiative takers and production companies in Sweden and the subsidiary in the USA.

The task of developing and introducing a new quality steel for the automobile industry in the USA is complex. Our well-planned and resolute way of approaching the task has satisfied all parties concerned.

Sunds Defibrator Refiner Segment (Valmet today)
Multinational integrated concept development does not come more complicated than for Sunds Defibrator. A global company specialising in the pulp, paper and fibreboard industry. Our starting point was that the knowledge within the company had developed differently out in the subsidiaries, often far away from the parent company. How could all this knowledge be integrated and coordinated in order to build up a new joint conceptual competence value towards the market from an integrated overall approach?

Our assignment was large and rewarding for all concerned and meant a sweeping influx of knowledge, a joint competence draft followed by implementation throughout the organisation. A brochure in six languages was put together for the world market. We still carry out similar assignments for Valmet.

We have been involved in introductions and campaigns on the European market.

Wirtschaftsförderung Schleswig Holstein,
WSH in Kiel, Germany
WSH is a German trade and industry organisation in Kiel, with the task of developing the North German trade and industry in co-operation with the Chamber of Commerce. This is an interesting and rewarding assignment for us where our role has been divided between analysis of the Swedish subsidiary's situation in Schleswig Holstein, and the production of printed matter and advertisements. All communication between us is in German in a stimulating and dynamic business partnerhip.
 

Dematek (Mannesmann Dematic)
Mannesmann Dematic has manufactured products for materials handling for more than 150 years. They are market-leaders within materials handling for lifting, moving, storage, driving and controlling all types of goods. Today their products are delivered all over the world. Through our assignment, which was to coordinate and communicate these various products, we made possible an overall approach of materials handling in order to strengthen Dematek's position as total supplier.
